Room, equipment and employee scheduling Scheduling is simplified with the side-by-side room, employee and equipment layout, making it possible to see available times and current entries as well as conflicts at a glance. Creating a job is easily done by simply dragging from start to end time, right-clicking, and selecting a client. Once a job is created in the room scheduler or any of the other scheduling views, it is possible to link multiple tasks, equipment, employees, stock and other items from the existing database. Jobs are colour-coded by user defined status types. Email notification of schedules and schedule changes. Easily generate emails to notify employees as well as clients of new bookings and schedule changes. Automatic room, equipment and employee conflict checking Service, employee and equipment conflicts are automatically checked on new bookings and schedule changes. Projects Jobs can be grouped into projects. This allows for project cost tracking as well as invoices and job cards printable per project. It is also possible to generate projects based on quotes. The quotes are then integrated with the project, making it possible to easily compare quoted figures to actual figures. Various printable views Job Designer offers a number of viewing options. Up to seven days can be viewed at a time in the main scheduler display. The list view shows jobs for a date range in list form with the ability to move to and open a listed job by double clicking. This view also provides filtering, and other features. The Month view displays jobs in a calendar type layout. Recurring jobs not available in the free version of Job Designer Recurring jobs can be created and altered as a single unit. Instant job costing Once a job is created, simply click on the finance section and see cost information for the job. Easily override figures for once-off charges. If a job is linked to a project, a running cost is visible at all times in the project tab, thus preventing budget-overruns. Quotes not available in the free version of Job Designer Quotes can be generated by using the project quote feature. Add items from the database by selecting from a list. The costs, quantities and discounts off all items can be overridden at this point without affecting the original database values. Configurable job invoicing Create invoices directly from the job details page. Once a job is created, simply click on the finance section and see cost information for the job.  All figures are calculated automatically taking into account overtime rates, special rates for clients, discounts etc. Group invoices not available in the free version of Job Designer Create invoices per client, or per project. Jobs can be grouped together and invoiced as a whole with project based invoicing. Custom Document layouts Design custom document layouts in any RTF (Rich text) compatible document editing program such as WordPad (included with Windows), enabling you to add logos or additional text to your invoices and job cards. User-definable reports on all items as well as detailed financial reports not available in the free version of Job Designer Generate customized reports on all items. Reports can be exported is csv format for further processing. Also print financial reports on invoices, balances, payment and credits. User level access Protect your data by allowing users password protected access to different modules in Job Designer. Networking  not available in the free version of Job Designer Job Designer can be used on a network allowing all users to see the same data at all times.
